A Taste for the Exotic Conference in Riggisberg, 27–28 September

Dressing the Early Modern Network 2018 Conference A Taste for the Exotic: Cross-Cultural Influences in Early Modern Dress and Textiles is organised in Riggisberg, Switzerland on 27–28 September 2018. The aim of the conference is to focus on the cross-cultural influences in dress and textiles, and discuss how these ideas were transferred, disseminated and exchanged during the early modern period. Our Postdoctoral Researcher Michele Robinson will present her paper “Popular Print, Near East Fashion, and Artisans’ Wardrobes in Late Sixteenth-Century Italy”.
